Mackintosh x Cad & The Dandy Taupe Bonded Cotton Raincoat

A rare collaboration bringing together two distinct sides of British menswear: Mackintosh’s two centuries of outerwear heritage and the contemporary Savile Row tailoring of Cad & The Dandy. Hand made in Scotland using Mackintosh’s signature bonded cotton, this is a particularly refined interpretation of the classic British raincoat.

A taupe raincoat from Mackintosh x Cad & The Dandy, cut from the brand’s signature bonded cotton cloth with a clean, straight silhouette to the knees.

Featuring an integrated hood with drawcord adjustment and metal toggles, high protective collar, zip fastening beneath a press-stud storm placket, angled flap pockets and adjustable cuff tabs. The bonded construction gives the coat a lightly structured feel while keeping the finish clean and minimal.

The rubberised bonded cotton has a distinctive firm, almost rubber-like handle. Rather than draping like a conventional cotton coat, the fabric creases and folds with movement, giving the coat its characteristic structured feel and unmistakable Mackintosh character.

A practical everyday coat for wet autumn and spring weather. Works especially well over knitwear and tailoring, paired with denim or muted earth tones.
