Navy Bonded Cotton Rain Coat

A rare collaboration bringing together two distinct sides of British menswear: Mackintosh’s two centuries of outerwear heritage and the contemporary Savile Row tailoring of Cad & The Dandy. Hand made in Scotland using Mackintosh’s signature bonded cotton, this is a particularly refined interpretation of the classic British raincoat.

Navy bonded cotton coat from Mackintosh x Cad & The Dandy, cut with a clean, long  silhouette in Mackintosh’s signature weather-resistant rubberised bonded construction.

The coat features a high collar with buttoned throat latch, concealed front fastening, slanted welt pockets and an internal pocket. Its unlined bonded construction keeps the coat relatively lightweight while creating the exceptionally clean interior finish characteristic of traditional Mackintosh outerwear.

The bonded cotton has a distinctive firm, almost rubber-like handle. Rather than draping like a conventional cotton coat, the fabric creases and folds with movement, giving the coat its characteristic structured feel and unmistakable Mackintosh character.

A restrained and versatile coat that sits naturally over tailoring, but works just as well worn more casually with knitwear, denim and leather shoes.
