Black Bonded Cotton Rain Coat

A classic Mackintosh raincoat, made in Scotland using the house’s signature bonded cotton construction. Cut in black with a clean, tailored silhouette, it is a particularly pure expression of the traditional Mackintosh raincoat.

Featuring an integrated hood with a high protective collar, two-way metal zip, discreet welt hand pockets and a long, minimal construction. The unlined bonded construction keeps the interior exceptionally clean and allows the material itself to define the shape of the coat.

The rubberised bonded cotton has a distinctive firm, almost rubber-like handle. Rather than draping like a conventional cotton coat, the fabric creases and folds with movement, giving the coat its characteristic structured feel and unmistakable Mackintosh character.

An understated raincoat for everyday use through autumn and spring, easily worn over tailoring or knitwear. Works particularly well with grey flannels, denim or tonal black and navy layers.
