Gunclub Shetland Wool Tweed Sports Jacket

Single-breasted sports jacket made handmade-to-measure by Orazio Luciano, cut from a fine, mid-weight Shetland wool tweed in gunclub checks, shades in blue, navy and brown from Holland & Sherry. Shetland wool creates a smoother cloth than traditional wool tweeds, which makes the jacket much softer and suitable as a four season jacket.

This jacket is half lined, with a soft full canvas construction and subtle padding through the shoulder. Featuring spalla camicia - sleeve insertion, generous notch lapels with a slight curve on the top-collar and a perfectly angled gorge and roll that makes for a "concave" shape, 3-roll-2 button stance, milanese buttonholes and horn buttons throughout, patch front pockets, barchetta chest pocket, three internal pockets, two front darts, open cuffs and double side vents.

Size: MTM, estimated to EU 50, tailored fit. Cut with a slightly extended shoulder and a fairly dramatic cutaway (78 cm front), which makes it wear longer than the measurements propose. Plenty of seam-allowance through the back- and side-seams, and at least 4cm in the cuff (note that it´s open cuff), should be some in the shoulder as well but can´t be guaranteed.
