Western ranger belt, cut from sturdy leather in saddle with contrast stitching and shaped brass buckle.

Distinguished by its wider body and tapered front billets, the ranger belt offers a distinctive alternative to the traditional leather belt, and offers great character without the visual weight of larger western buckles, making it equally suitable with denim, corduroy and soft tailoring.

The ranger belt traces its origins to the American Southwest during the second half of the 19th century. Originally developed for the Texas Rangers, its distinctive construction combines a wider body with narrower front billets, allowing the belt to provide the support of a wider strap while remaining comfortable and easy to fasten. The design became closely associated with horsemen, ranchers and the broader tradition of Western dress.
